weddings!

On Wednesday I have to go to David's Bridal in Toledo and get fitted for my bride's maids dress. My friend, Beth, from high school is getting married on October 4th. I got asked to be in the wedding after someone else dropped out because they couldn't afford to fly home to be in the wedding. Beth said she didn't think I would have fun getting all girlie so she didn't ask me. Then when the other girl said she couldn't go (two months before the wedding!) she called me upset saying "I know I should of just asked you in the first place!"

I need to get the bra I'm gonna wear and the shoes I'm gonna wear before I get there. I called my mom to see if she could go with me (just to make sure everything is going to look okay), but she couldn't so I asked my grandma. She's excited about going with me, but I just hope that my self-esteem is still intact when I leave. Sometimes she is br00tal with her words, but she is only trying to help so I'll just try to tell myself that. Hopefully it's fun. I also need to go to Macy's and look into this make-up that covers up tattoos. I would feel a lot more comfortable if people in a huge Catholic church weren't starring at my patchiness. Soooo, hopefully that make-up works too.

This will be a big change! This is the first wedding I have been in. All the weddings that I have been to in the last year I have photographed! This will probably be the start of my "always a bride's maid, never a bride" streak I will have :-)
